'Chameleon Wear' clothing is a new style of clothes able to change color due to specialized cells in their fabric called chromapunk. Melanopearl fabrics contain the pigment melanin, which can condense or expand to darken or lighten the fabric color. Iridosheen fabric contain nanocrystals that can rearrange to reflect different wavelengths of light, producing colors like blue and green. Xanthospores and erythrospores contain yellow and red mycelium, which binds the fabric. This can also be expanded or contracted to change the clothing hue. By coordinating the activity of these different chromatophore fabric layers, 'Chameleon Wear' can rapidly produce a wide variety of colors and patterns.
