This image was inspired by the Raven. If you look closely, there is an iridescent shimmer on her lips, a subtle detail that adds depth to an already arresting photograph. Personally this is one of my favorite portraits I have ever done, party due to the exquisite photorealism, but largely due to the enchanting and mysterious gaze coming from her eyes. For me this image has all the soul of a traditional photograph and is a pleasure to look at again, and again.
