I'm a Spanish photographer, born in Alicante but with my heart in Almería and my career in Madrid. Photography is how I view the world. I've specialized in capturing both natural and urban landscapes, always aiming to snap shots that invite viewers to step through the frame's window, explore, and vividly experience the place as if they were there.
My journey in photography began in my teens with analog, learning on a Canon AV-1 at 18 while attending the University of Granada. I'm passionate about the arts broadly speaking—music, piano, guitar, drawing, painting, diving into fantasy, historical and science fiction literature, and of course, photography, along with nearly any other discipline you could think of, like ancient calligraphy, graphic design, or typography.
Growing up surrounded by computers, transitioning to the digital age was a breeze. I got my hands on Photoshop in 1997, allowing me to develop my own processing techniques.
Over the past few years, I've been honored with countless international awards and honorable mentions for my landscape and architectural photography.
My work has been featured on covers and in magazines and publications worldwide, such as National Geographic, GEO Magazine, Landscape Photography Magazine, Indonesia Colors, Digital Photo, Digital Photographer, NYC|The Huffington Post, Daily Telegraph, Microsoft, Google, Practical Photographer, Samsung, Forbes, Outside Magazine, and numerous online publications and travel guides.
Since 2018, I've served on the professional jury for one of the world's most significant international photography competitions, "The Epson International Pano Awards."
In 2021, I was honored to become an ambassador for Eizo ColorEdge, the market's leading monitor brand, recognized with an Academy Award® by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences for the invention and development of monitor technology with an integrated calibrator.
That same year, I was also named an ambassador for Canson, the world's premier paper brand with a history dating back to 1557, currently producing the finest and most exquisite paper for FineArt photographic prints, the Canson-Infinity range.
In 2022, Yellowkorner, the world's leading art gallery and publisher, began representing my work, showcasing nine of my pieces in exclusive, limited editions across their galleries and stores worldwide.
Since 2021, National Geographic France has regularly featured a significant portion of my work in their official calendars in the country.
In 2022, I began innovating in the field of photography by integrating artificial intelligence (AI)-based tools into my workflow.
My pioneering approach to adopting and applying these advanced technologies has placed me at the forefront of creating novel techniques and processes for image treatment.
This development marks a significant milestone in my career, underpinning some of the most important business projects and teams internationally.
It has enabled me to explore and apply adjustments and effects to photographs that were previously impossible, setting a new precedent in the art of photo editing that we're just beginning to uncover.
