The sound of crunching metal and shattering glass still echoed in my mind as I approached the scene. The driver, a young woman, was being tended to by paramedics, her face etched with shock and fear. As I raised my camera, I felt a sense of responsibility to tell her story, to capture the fragility of life in that moment. After the accident, I found out that the woman was driving home from a party to celebrate finishing college. She was very proud of herself, but now her car and her dreams were broken on the ground. Even though it was a very difficult time, she was already thinking about how to make things better and start again.
